Infrared Port B

This field allows you to configure the Notebook's COM2 port.
The following options are available:

Disabled, Auto (default value).

Mode

FIR = Fast infrared transfer with 4 megabit maximum transfer
rate IrDA = Serial infrared transfer with 11,5200 bps maximum
transfer rate. The following options are available:

Parallel Port

This field allows you to configure the Notebook’s parallel port.

The following options are available:

Disabled, Auto (default value)

Changing the default address and IRQ settings for COM1 and
the LPT Port can cause conflicts with other system devices or
installed peripherals.

Mode

This field allows you to configure the Notebook’s parallel port
transmission mode. The following options are available:

Output only, Bi-directional, ECP (default value), EPP

With the ECP mode, the port is software and hardware
compatible with existing parallel ports so that it may be used as
a standard printer mode if ECP is not required.

Installed O/S

This field allows you to enable the Plug and Play operating
system to set up your hardware devices. Select Win2K/WinXP
if you are using a Plug and Play operating system.
