Precautions: Grounding
• Connect the FP’s FG terminal to an exclusive ground.
[diagram (a) - Grounding resistance of under 100
Ω.]
• If exclusive grounding is not possible, use a common
connection point. [diagram (b)]
• The grounding wire should have a cross sectional area
greater than 2mm

. Make the connection point as close
to the FP unit as possible, and make the wire as short as
possible. When using a long grounding wire, replace
the thin wire with a thicker wire placed in a duct.
• If this equipment does not function properly when
grounded, disconnect the ground wire from the FG ter-
minal.

Precautions: Input/Output Signal Lines
•
Input and output signal lines must be separated from operating circuit power cables.
•
If this is not possible, use a shielded cable and connect the shield to the FP chassis.
