VI. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION & SETTING
The “XCTRL configurator” is a user friendly software which allows you to easily set-up the XCTRL controller. It gives
you access to all parameters which could be modified and save into the integrated memory of the XCTRL. A Digital
oscilloscope is available to get an overview of the min parameters and the Inputs/Outputs variations.
1. Software downloading
This application is available on our Web site. Please visit our web site http://www.warnerelectric.com/ to
download it.
2. Software Installation
Unzip the folder name previously downloaded and open it. Double click on setup and follow the instructions.
Once the file is installed, the software will start running. If it’s not the case double click on the application
named XCTRL_Configurator.
3. Computer Wiring
To connect your computer to the XCTRL use an USB 2.0 cable type A to type B (not included) and wire it to
the USB ports as shown below:
Note: To get a link between the computer and the XCTRL, the XCTRL need to be supplied. For this refer to
section I/ System Wiring and Setting, item 3.
