Performing a Transducer Self-Test
You can check the transducer electronics by connecting the transducer to the CT-8000 S3 and
running a transducer self-test using the instructions below:
a. Start from the “START-UP” menu:
Press the
[5]
key (DIAGNOSTICS).
b. The following screen will be displayed:
Press the
[3]
key (TEST TRANSDUCER).
c. The following screen will be displayed:
NOTE
• T1 - T3 refer to digital transducers. R1 - R3 refer to resistor type
transducers.
• If a resistor type transducer is connected, Resistor Setup #1 will be used
(see section 3.2.11). If a resistor transducer setup is not defined, a default
value of 10 inches is used as the full transducer travel distance.
Move the transducer slider to a known distance and observe the display.
TRANSDUCER TEST:

T2= 0.00 in / 000.0°
T3= 0.00 in / 000.0°
