3.10. Load/Save Calibration Settings
As soon as a calibration is done, all the settings from this calibration can be saved in a file. If an M
2
setup is fixed
for a standalone laser, the calibration procedure does not have to be done again.
To save a calibration settings, go to the M
2
Calibration panel (Moving Stage Calibration Mode) or the M
2
Parameters panel (Calibration At Lens and Real Time Calibration Modes) and follow the steps to calibrate your
setup. Once the Calibrate button at the bottom of the panel is pressed, the Save button at the top of the panel
will be available.

If the Save button is pressed, a file dialog will show up and ask for a file destination on the computer. The file
extension is “*.m2”.
To load a calibration setting, the M
2
Calibration panel (Moving Stage Calibration Mode) or the M
2
Parameters
panel (Calibration At Lens and Real Time Calibration Modes) must be opened. Then press the Load button at the
top of the panel. Choose your calibration file and press open. All calibration settings will be entered
automatically in the software and the button Calibrate will be pressed automatically. You will now be readu to
make a new real time M
2
measurement.
Warning: To load a calibration file, the calibration must have been saved in the same calibration type. So, to load
a Calibration At Lens Mode calibration setting file, the file must be saved from a Calibration At Lens Mode
procedure.
