Seeing different temporal positions of a beam waist has a counterpart. At the minimum beam waist position, the
intensity of the laser will be at its maximum. If the exposure time is set to put this peak intensity at a maximum
exposure time, the beams at each extremity will not have enough exposure time to be calculated correctly.

Beams with different intensities

To solve this problem, the software must use a different exposure time for each beam detected by the sensor
and it must optimize it to obtain the maximum intensity and exposure time for each beam. Not changing the
exposure time for each beam will affect their diameters and will negatively affect in the M

measurement.
