CONNECTING REFERENCE AIR

For 1234 sensors, no reference air connection is required. For oxygen probes, a 1/4” tube
connector on the transmitter should be connected via a nylon, copper or stainless steel
tube the to ‘REF’ connector on the probe.
If two probes are being used, a “T” union must be supplied to provide reference air supply
to both probes.
If ‘Internal’ is selected in set-up 85, and a reference airflow sensor is connected to CN8 on
the 1630-2 (terminal) PCB, the reference air pump is cycled on and off each minute.

CONNECTING THE DUAL FUEL INPUT

If combustibles or maximum carbon dioxide display is required and the appliance is
capable of firing more than one fuel, then an external contact must be connected for the
transmitter to determine which fuel is being burnt.
