RS-232 Connection
l RS-232 port — Connect a host device, such as a computer or touch panel control, to
the IN1508 switcher via this 9-pin D connector for serial RS-232 control (figure 5).

Remote Control Battery Installation
Install two AAA batteries as shown (see figure 6).

Configuration
The switcher must be configured for the video that is connected to input 5 and for the
output video device. Configuration can be accomplished using either the front panel controls
or the IR remote control (see “
Operation ”). Configuration can also be accomplished using
SIS commands (see “ Programming Guide ”).
