Accessing the Web
Interface
You can access the web interface through the console port or over the
network.
To access the web interface through the console port, you must install,
configure and run the Serial Web Utility described in
. Note that the Serial Web Utility is only required if you want
to access the web interface through the console port; it is not required for
access over the network.
To access the web interface over the network, take the following steps:
1 Ensure that your network is correctly set up for management using the
web interface. For more information, see
.
2 Open your Web browser.
3 In the Location field of the browser, enter the URL of the stack. This must
be in the format:
http://
nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn/
where
nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn
is the IP address of the stack.
When the browser has located the stack, a user name and password
dialog is displayed as shown in
Figure 2
