The roving analysis port information is displayed as shown in the example
below.
Removing a Roving
Analysis Port
You can remove the roving analysis port using the
remove
command on
the Analyzer menu.
To remove a roving analysis port:
At the Top-level menu, enter:
feature analyzer remove
Starting Data
Monitoring
You can start monitoring data on a specified port (monitor port) on a
Switch unit in the stack using the
start
command on the Analyzer
menu.
To start monitoring data on a port:
1 At the Top-level menu, enter:
feature analyzer start
The following prompt is displayed:
Select unit to monitor (1-4):
2 Enter the number of the Switch unit in the stack on which you wish the
monitor port to reside.
The following prompt is displayed:
Enter port to monitor (1,2,7):
3 Enter the port number that you wish to have data copied from and
monitored by the roving analysis port. (The port selection list only
includes the ports that are candidates to be the monitor port.)
