NFORMATION
You must read the following safety information before carrying out any
installation or removal of components, or any maintenance procedures
on the Switch 3800.
Important Safety
Information
WARNING: Warnings contain directions that you must follow for your
personal safety. Follow all instructions carefully.
Please read the following safety information thoroughly before
installing the Switch 3800.

Installation and removal of the unit must be carried out by qualified
personnel only.
■
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, install the unit in a
temperature and humidity controlled indoor area free of conductive
contaminants.
Power
■
To ensure compliance with international safety standards, only use
the power adapter that is supplied with the unit.
■
Disconnect the power adapter before removing the unit.
■
The unit must be earthed (grounded).
■
The unit must be connected to an earthed (grounded) outlet to
comply with European safety standards.
■
Do not connect the unit to an A.C. outlet (power supply) without
an earth (ground) connection.
■
The socket outlet must be near to the unit and easily accessible. You
can only remove power from the unit by disconnecting the power
cord from the outlet.
