The descriptions of the front panel LEDs are listed below:

LED FUNCTION STATUS DESCRIPTION
USB USB indication ON
OFF The USB link is up.
The USB link is down or the modem is in RS-232 mode.
OH Hook Status ON
OFF The modem is off hook.
The modem is on hook.
DATA Data Traffic ON
OFF The modem is sending or receiving data.
The modem is not sending or receiving data.
MR Modem Ready ON
OFF The modem is ready.
The modem is not ready.
