Note: Be sure to support the
center of the PCU with
your other hand as you
pull it out.
Note: You will feel the PCU stop when it is about half way out. This is to keep
the PCU from falling accidentally. Lift up on the PCU with both hands to
free it from the machine.
4 Follow the recycling instructions on the package of the new CPU to dispose
of the old one.
5 Remove the new PCU from its package.
6 Using both hands, slide the new
PCU into the machine as far as it
goes. Make sure that the shaft
inside the machine (which rotates
the drum) seats correctly into the
slot on the inside end of the PCU.
Note: Be sure to gently but firmly press on the end of the PCU until you hear it
snap into place.
7 Turn the lever “B1” up to the right.
8 Close the Front Cover of the machine.
