Table 5-9 lists the Control Panel messages that appear when you must take
corrective action.

Close Finisher
Upper Cover The Finisher Cover is open. Close the Finisher Upper Cover.
Close Finisher
Front Cover The finisher Front Cover is open. Close the Finisher Front Cover.
Close Front Cover The Front Cover is open. Close the Front Cover.
Close Left Cover The Left Cover is open. Close the Left Cover.
Close LCT Cover The Cover of the Large Capacity
Tray (LCT) is open. Close the LCT Cover.
Close Mailbox Cover The Cover of the Mailbox is open. Close the Mailbox Cover.
Close Right Cover The Right Cover is open. Close the Right Cover.
Close Right Lower
Cover The Lower Cover is open. Close the Right Lower Cover.
Reset Env Feeder
or Power off/on The envelope feeder was removed with
the printer power on.
The printer engine must be reset.
Reset the Envelope Feeder, or
turn the printer power off and
back on.
Resetting Job You pressed the [Esc.] key to cancel a
print job. The printer terminates the
current job and enters Menu mode. This message is informational
only. No action is required.
Reset Duplex tray The Duplex Tray is open. Push the Duplex Tray into the
printer.
Reset LCT The Large Capacity Tray (LCT) is
detached from the printer. Make sure the LCT is not pulled
away from the printer.
Reset Paper tray
The specified paper tray is not ready. Make sure the tray is not open.
Reset Fusing Ut The Fusing Unit is removed or not
installed correctly. Install the Fusing Unit or verify
that the existing Fusing Unit is
installed correctly.
