2. Option
Setting the debug options
Check the box when not downloading the program to the
internal flash ROM of the MCU. If this box is checked,
the working efficiency (downloading, software break,
etc.) will be improved because the program is
downloaded in the emulation memory in the PC7501.
However, maximum operating frequency is 10MHz
The box is unchecked by default.
3. MCU Status
Referring to the MCU Status
It shows the status of each MCU pin. Check it to see if
the MCU status matches the selected processor mode.
“NC” means that the pin status is indeterminate.
IMPORTANT
Notes on Selecting a Processor Mode:
The MCU status is shown in “MCU Status” of the EMEM dialog box. Check that it matches to the processor
mode to be set.
Check that the RDY* and HOLD* are “H” level. If they are “L” level, as the MCU enters a wait status and the
emulator debugger cannot receive the signal from the MCU, an error is displayed.
