2.4 Connecting the PC7501
Figure 2.3 shows how to connect the PC7501 and the emulation probe.
(1) Slide the upper cover of the
M306V8T-EPB to the M306V8T-
PTC side.
(2) Remove the upper cover.
(3) Unscrew the two screws.
(4) Remove the metal plate.
(5) Connect CN1 and CN2 of the M3T-
FLX160-EPB to J1 and J2 of the
M306V8T-EPB, respectively.
* Place the CN1 of the M3T-FLX160-
EPB under the metal plate to connect
the M306V8T-EPB. Place the flexible
cable on the upper side of the metal
plate.
(6) Attach the metal plate.
(7) Tighten the two screws.
(8) Attach the upper cover.
(9) Slide the upper cover of the
M306V8T-EPB to the PC7501 side.

CAUTION
Cautions for Connecting the PC7501:
When connecting the emulation probe, be sure to hold the both sides of the emulation probe horizontally and
insert it directly.
Always shut OFF power before connecting the emulation probe. Otherwise, internal circuits may be damaged.
The connectors of the M306V8T-EPB are guaranteed for only 50 insertion/removal iterations.
