■ SERIAL PORT SETUP
On the ADMINISTRATOR SETUP PAGE , click the SERIAL PORT button to display the SERIAL PORT SETUP window.
Specify whether to use the RS-232C or RS-485 interface, and set the communication parameters.
Make certain that the DIP switch #4 on the rear of the transmitter is set to OFF when the RS-485 port is used, or to ON when the
RS-232C port is used.
q TYPE
Specify a peripheral device that communicates with the
transmitter through the serial port. Click the ▼ button
repeatedly to scroll down the options shown below.
The default setting is PS
• Data.
The following options are available when DIP switch #4 is
set to OFF (RS-485 ) on the rear of the WJ-NT204.

WJ-FS616: Video Multiplexer
PS.Data: Products capable of Panasonic Security Data
protocol
Serial Through: Data is transmitted through the DATA
port using comthr.html.
The following options are available when DIP switch #4 is

WJ-DR200: Digital Disc Recorder
Serial Through: Data is transmitted through the DATA
port using comthr.html.
w BAUD RATE
Set the rate to 4 800, 9 600 or 19 200 bps. The default
setting is 9 600 bps.
e DATA BIT
Set the data bit to 7 or 8 bits. The default is 8 bits.
r STOP BIT
Set the stop bit to 1 or 2 bits. The default is 1 bit.
t PARITY
Set the parity check to NONE, ODD or EVEN. The
default setting is NONE.
y WAIT TIME
Set the wait time with the ▼ button. The default setting
is OFF.
u UNIT ADDRESS
Set an address number within 002 through 999 when
TYPE is set to PS
• Data. The default setting is 002.
Notes: Special caution should be used for setting unit
address when the System Controller WV-CU360 is
installed in the system.
• The transmitter WJ-NT204 will be set to address
“1” automatically, when no receiver WJ-NT204 is
connected to the transmitter except the PC. The
WV-CU360 connected to the transmitter should be
set to other than “1”.
• The transmitter WJ-NT204 will be set to the
address by this operation, when a receiver WJ-
NT204 is connected. The Control site WV-CU360
connected to the receiver should be set to “1”
while the Remote site WV-CU360 be set to other
than “1” and “ transmitter’s address”.
i GROUP ADDRESS
Set an address within 00A through 00Z. The default
setting is 00A.
o PS.Data Unit Address SETUP
Is linked to the PS.Data Unit Address SETUP page.
!0 WJ-DR200 SETUP
Set the CONTROL PRIORITY from among three
options. The default setting is AUTOMATICALLY
CHANGE OVER.
!1 WJ-SX550A/B and WJ-SX850 MATRIX SWITCHER
SETUP
Clicking on this line will open the WJ-SX550A/B and
WJ-SX850 MATRIX SWITCHER setup window.
