● Confirmation of the set values
Turn OFF all Mode Setup switches inside the WJ-NT204 front panel, and then press the RESET button to restart the unit.
Restarting makes the addresses entered take effect.
Perform a communication check by means of ping commands as follows.

q Connect the WJ-NT204 to the PC (see page 66).
w Click the [START] button on the PC, and then point to [Programs] . In the program menu, choose [MS-DOS Prompt] , and
enter the following commands.

• The address has been set properly if the WJ-NT204 responds as follows:
• If the request times out without a response from the WJ-NT204, the address may not have been set properly. Attempt to
set it again.
• If the WJ-NT204 responds as below, the network setup of the PC may be wrong. Correct the setup (e.g., change the IP
address to 192.168.0.2 and the sub netmask to 255.255.255.0), and enter the ping command again.
