The chapter
provides users with an overview of the content and structure of this
manual.

contains information on the supple-
ments and changes which you will require in addition to the information contained in the
manual.

“Advanced Server for UNIX architecture”
contains an overview of the process
model and of internal and external Advanced Server for UNIX communication.

“Installing Advanced Server for UNIX”
contains information on the hardware
and software requirements of your server system. It also provides instructions for trans-
ferring the Advanced Server for UNIX software onto the server system as well as all the
information required to configure the system and Advanced Server for UNIX software, and
to create a development environment for Advanced Server for UNIX applications.

contains, among other things, the
