Changing the handset PIN

Changing the PIN prevents unauthorized persons from,

for example, deleting entries from your telephone book.

Resetting the base station to factory defaults

You can use this procedure to reset the following settings

to factory defaults:

Signaling method (DTMF/flash 100 ms) ➔ page 52

Pause length following analog trunk/MSI ( 3 seconds)

page 54

Call allocation (collective call) ➔ page 49

The following stored data can be deleted:

Once "Change PIN" has been confirmed, you are request-

ed to enter the current PIN.

Enter the current PIN (factory default "0000"). Enter the

new PIN and note carefully the number entered.

Enter the new PIN again to confirm.

All registered handsets remain registered.
