Specifying file information
You can specify a user name, file
name, and password for a stored scan
data file.
According to the settings made, you
can search for files by user name or
file name and you can prevent unau-
thorized persons from accessing the
files.
Note
❒ The file name can be up to 64 char-
acters long. The user name can be
up to 20 characters long. The first
16 characters are shown on the
control panel. From a client com-
puter with DeskTopBinder V2
Lite/Professional installed, you
can view all the characters entered.

Display the File Information
screen.
A Press [Store File].
B Press [File Information].
The File Information screen ap-
pears.

Specify file information.

A Press [User Name].

❒ If no user name is pro-
grammed on the Key Opera-
t o r T o o l s t a b i n S y s t e m
Settings, the Us er Name
screen does not appear. In-
stead, the Non-programmed
Name screen appears. Enter
the user name.
B Select the user name.
Note

Settings. To enter a name not
shown here, press [Non-pro-
grammed Name]
