9.7.5 Removing a Book
x When you finish reading a book, you can delete it to conserve space
on your device. If a copy of the book is stored on your PC, you can
download it again at any time.
x To remove a book from your device, tap and hold the title in the
Library list, and then tap Delete on the pop up menu.
9.8 Image Viewer
x Image Viewer allows you to conveniently view high-resolution
JPEG and BMP pictures, whether you are at home or on the road.
x Download images to your PC, and then use ActiveSync to copy the
files to your device. The images appear in Image Viewer, where
you can tap them in the list to open them
Pictures can also be stored on a MMC or SD memory card to save
memory on your device. Insert a card into the memory card slot and then
copy or drag the pictures from your PC to the My Documents directory on
the memory card (If the memory card does not have a My Documents
directory you must create one first).
Image Viewer is based in part on the work of the Independent JPEG group.
9.8.1 Transferring Images to your Siemens SX56 Wireless PDA Phone
Pictures stored on your PC can be synchronized with Image Viewer on your device. Picture synchronization is not automatically
selected in ActiveSync. For more information on synchronization, see ActiveSync Help on the PC.
9.8.2 Changing your Image List Layout
You can choose to file your images in a list (see left) or as Viewer icons (see right).
