1.2.1 Features

The LSI53C140 supports these features:

Any combination of LVD, SE, or HVD transceivers

Creates distinct SCSI bus segments that are electrically isolated
from each other

Integrated LVDlink transceivers for direct attachment to either LVD,
SE, or HVD bus segments

Operates as a SCSI Bus Expander

LVD to LVD (Ultra2 SCSI)

HVD to HVD (Ultra SCSI)

SE to SE (Ultra SCSI)

Operates as a SCSI Bus Converter

LVD to HVD (Ultra SCSI)

LVD to SE (Ultra SCSI)

HVD to SE (Ultra SCSI)

Targets and initiators may be located on either the A or B Side of the
device
