4.12. SAFETY DEVICES

The stove is fitted with the following safety devices:

PRESSURE SWITCH

Monitors pressure in the smoke duct. It is designed to shut down

the pellet feed screw in the event of an obstructed flue or

significant back-pressure (from the wind).

SMOKE TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Monitors the temperature of the smoke, and gives permission for

startup or shuts the stove down when the smoke temperature falls

below the preset value.

BULB TEMPERATURE PROBE OR CONTACT THERMOSTAT IN

THE FUEL HOPPER (KLIXON)

If the temperature exceeds the preset safety level, it immediately

shuts down the running of the stove, and has to be reset manually

before the stove will restart

(see paragraph 4.20.3).
