1. Turn the printer off and unplug the power cord and interface
cables.

Caution:
Make sure to unplug the power cord from the printer to
prevent getting an electrical shock.
2. Carefully remove the 500-Sheet Universal Paper Cassette
Unit A3 from its carton.
Note:
❏ Make sure you have the four screws packed with the optional
cassette unit.
❏ Remove the protective materials from the unit.
❏ Keep all protective materials in case you want to ship the unit
in the future.
