Possible Solution
Er-09
Acceleration Error
The motor did not accelerate for the specified acceleration time.
• Increase the acceleration time (C1-01).
• Disconnect the machine from the motor if possible.
The load was too high during Rotational Auto-Tuning.
• Disconnect the motor from machine and restart Auto-Tuning. If
motor and load cannot be uncoupled make sure the load is lower
than 30%.
• If a mechanical brake is installed, make sure it is fully lifted
during tuning.

Current Detection Error
One of the motor phases is missing: (U/T1, V/T2, W/T3).
Check motor wiring and correct any problems.
The current exceeded the current rating of the drive.
• Check motor wiring for a short between motor lines.
• Close any magnetic contactors used between motors.
• Replace the control board or the entire drive. For instructions on
replacing the control board, contact Yaskawa or your nearest
sales representative.
The current is too low.

Fault Reset Methods
When a fault occurs, the cause of the fault must be removed and the drive must be restarted. The table below lists the different
ways to restart the drive.

Resetting via Fault Reset Digital Input S4
Close then open the fault signal digital input via
terminal S4. S4 is set for “Fault Reset” as default
(H1-04 = 14).

Turn off the main power supply if the above methods do not reset the fault. Reapply power after the
HOA keypad display has turned off.
When an “SC” error occurs, contact Yaskawa or a Yaskawa agent before cycling the power to the drive.

Note:
If the Run command is present, the drive will disregard any attempts to reset the fault. Remove the Run command before attempting to clear
a fault situation.
