10.2.5 Communication Errors
If the text line displays "No Communication", a communication error has occurred. The communication
error is displayed without the two-digit error number.
76 An internal communication error has occurred. Error type: Error 1 (see section
10.2.1 "Error Types and Waiting Times for Errors", page 56).
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
77 A contactor error has occurred. Error type: Defect (see section 10.2.1 "Error
Types and Waiting Times for Errors", page 56).
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
78 The surge arrester has tripped. Error type: Warning (see section 10.2.1 "Error
Types and Waiting Times for Errors", page 56).
Corrective measures:
• Replace the defective module of the surge arrester.
79 A reverse current has occurred in the PV array. Error type: Error 2 (see section
10.2.1 "Error Types and Waiting Times for Errors", page 56).
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
87 The power setpoint outside of the valid range. Error type: Warning (see section
10.2.1 "Error Types and Waiting Times for Errors", page 56).
Corrective measures:
• Ensure that the power setpoint is correct.

Corrective measures:
• Ensure that the data cable is connected correctly.
• Ensure that there is supply voltage to the operation control unit.
• Contact the SMA Service Line.
