MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION
Removal from Storage:
1. Check the battery electrolyte level, charge the battery if necessary,
and install it in the vehicle. Make certain the battery vent hose is
routed properly and that it is not pinched or restricted in any way.
2. Make sure the spark plug is tight.
3. Fill the fuel tank with fuel.
4. Check all the points listed in the Daily Safety Checks section.
5. Lubricate per periodic maintenance chart.
Do not run the engine in a closed area. Exhaust gases contain
carbon monoxide; a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas.
Breathing exhaust gas leads to carbon monoxide poisoning,
asphyxiation and death.
WARNING
Bolt and Nut Tightening
Tightness of the bolts, nuts and other fasteners should be checked by an
authorized Polaris dealer in accordance with the Periodic Maintenance
