Parking Brake Inspection:
S
Push the parking brake
down with your foot.
S
After 8 to 12 clicks of le-
ver travel, the vehicle
should not roll while
parked.
S
If the vehicle moves, ad-
justment is necessary
Adjustment:
S
Place the vehicle in neutral
on a flat level surface.
S
Carefully lift the rear of
the vehicle off the ground
and stabilize on jack
stands.
S
Loosen the locknut on the rear caliper adjustment bolt.
S
Tighten the adjustment bolt until the rear tire will not rotate.
S
Back the adjustment bolt out 1/4 turn.
S
Tighten the jam nut while holding the adjustment nut in place.
S
Repeat this procedure on the other rear tire.
