Verify that the working environment of the firewall is well ventilated.

If the temperature inside the firewall exceeds 50°C (122°F), the following information appears on
the configuration terminal:

Use the display environment command to examine whether the temperature inside the firewall is
rising. If the temperature inside the firewall exceeds 90°C (194°F), power off the firewall
immediately and contact your local sales agent.

Troubleshooting the interface module failure
Symptom
After an interface module is installed and the firewall is powered on, the LEDs on the interface module
panel indicate the interface module is not operating properly.
Solution
1.
Verify that the correct interface module cable is used.
2.
Verify that the interface module cable is correctly connected.
3.
Use the display interface command to examine whether the interfaces of the interface module
have been correctly configured and are operating properly.
