Power module failure
Fixed power module failure
The S5560-30S-EI and S5560-54S-EI switches use fixed power modules, and support three power input
modes: AC input, RPS DC input, and concurrent AC and RPS DC inputs.
Look at the system status LED and the RPS status LED of the switch to identify power system failure.

Symptom
The system status LED is off.

Solution
To resolve the problem:
a.
Verify that the AC power cord is securely connected to the switch, and the AC-input power
receptacle on the switch and the connected AC power outlet are in good condition.
b.
Verify that the external AC power system is operating correctly.
c.
Verify that the operating temperature of the switch is in an acceptable range, and the power
module has good ventilation. Over-temperature can cause the power module to stop working
and enter protection state.
d.
If the problem persists, contact H3C Support.
RPS DC input

Symptom
The system status LED or RPS status LED is off.
•
Solution
To resolve the problem:
a.
Verify that the switch is securely connected to the RPS.
