Clean Tank / Heat Exchanger / Float Chamber
Tank drained.
Disconnect open, On/Off switch to Off
Water shut off and manual steam valve closed, cabinet covers removed.
Anti seize compound applied to tank maintenance door nuts.
Maintenance doors removed (front and top of 525+).
Tank maintenance door gaskets cleaned and in good condition.
Scale removed from tank.
Heat Exchanger has scale and needs cleaning No Yes
If Yes
Steam supply and condensate unions disconnected
Anti seize compound applied and heat exchanger nuts removed
Heat exchanger removed.
Heat exchanger gaskets cleaned and in good condition.
Heat exchanger cleaned with plastic scraper.
Heat exchanger reinstalled.
Nuts torque to 5 ft-lb
Steam supply and condensate unions reconnected.
Tank maintenance doors reinstalled
Nuts torque to 5 ft-lb
Float Chamber removed inspected and cleaned
General Inspection
Electrical wiring not loose and in good condition,
Steam hoses and steam lines in good condition / No kinks in hose,
No Signs of water leaking around humidifier, steam line, condensate returns,
Cabinet covers replaced, water shut off valve opened, manual steam valve opened, On/Off
switch to On, Disconnect Closed
SETC only - “Reset Service Reminder” in Software, (Password 0335, Service Level)
