Command Syntax Description
G GET Trigger Mask
(System Command) Gmask Sets bits in the GET Trigger Mask which specifies which ports
will be triggered upon receipt of a bus GET command.
G-mask Clears specified bits in the GET Trigger Mask.
G0 Clears all bits in the GET Trigger Mask.
G? Returns current GET Trigger Mask.
Mask bits:
Bit 1 Enable trigger to DAC port 1. (decimal 1)
Bit 2 Enable trigger to DAC port 2. (decimal 2)
Bit 3 Enable trigger to DAC port 3. (decimal 4) (DAC488/4 only)
Bit 4 Enable trigger to DAC port 4. (decimal 8) (DAC488/4 only)
Notes: The default mask value is 0.
H Offset Calibration
(Port Command) Hval Specifies the Offset Calibration Constant for selected range and
port. Range is
±
255.
H? Returns Offset Calibration Constant for selected range and port.
Notes: Calibration Constants must be programmed while using the
Direct Control mode ( C0 ). Autorange must be disabled ( A0 )
to program Calibration Constants. The current voltage
output is retriggered upon execution of this command. The
default value is 0.
I Interval
(Port Command) Ival Specify time interval (in milliseconds) used with the Waveform
control mode. Range for val is 1 to 65535.
I? Returns the current interval.
Notes: The default value is 1000, or 1 second.
J Gain Calibration
(Port Command) Jpos,neg Specifies the Gain Calibration Constant for both polarities of the
selected range and port. pos = 0 to 255; neg = 0 to 255
J? Returns Gain Calibration Constants for selected range and port.
Notes: Calibration Constants must be programmed while using the
Direct Control mode ( C0 ). Autorange must be disabled ( A0 )
to program Calibration Constants. The current voltage
output is retriggered upon execution of this command. The
default values are 128,128.
K End-Or-Identify Kn Where n = 0 or 1 .
Control K0 Assert EOI on last bus terminator.
(System Command) K1 (Default) Disable EOI .
K? Returns the current EOI Control setting.
L Buffer Location Lval Specifies current buffer location. Range for val is 0 to 8191.
(Port Command) L? Returns the current buffer location in the format specified by the
Output Format ( On ) command. The value returned after an
L? is the first location that will be used in Stepped and
Waveform modes.
M Service Request
Mask
Mmask Sets bits in the Service Request Mask which specifies which
DAC488/4 events will generate a bus service request.
(System Command) M-mask Clears the specified bits in the Service Request Mask.
M0 Clears all bits in the Service Request Mask.
M? Returns current Service Request Mask.

Bit 1 Enable SRQ on DAC port 1 trigger ready. (decimal value 1)
Bit 2 Enable SRQ on DAC port 2 trigger ready. (decimal value 2)
Bit 3 Enable SRQ on DAC port 3 trigger ready. (decimal value 4)

Bit 4 Enable SRQ on DAC port 4 trigger ready. (decimal value 8)

Bit 5 Enable SRQ on Trigger Overrun. (decimal value 16)
Bit 6 Enable SRQ on error. (decimal value 32)
