Console Port Settings

This window allows you to select the protocol for communicating through the console port, Console or SLIP, in the
Port Setting
field. Use SLIP for out-of-band management. You can also choose the refresh rate in the Console
Time Out
field (2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes or Never). If SLIP is being used, you may also set
the Baud Rate in the last field. Click Apply and then reboot the Switch for console port settings to take effect.
The default serial port settings are:
Baud Rate=9600
Data Bits=8
Flow Control=X on/X off
Parity=None
Stop Bits=1

The options for the current console port setting are Console or SLIP.

Choose Never, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, or 15 minutes for the desired refresh
setting.
