To Add / Modify to the table or Delete from the table, check the desired option button, enter the MAC address in

the MAC Address field, enter the VLAN ID in the Vid field (if IEEE 802.1Q VLANS is selected), enable or disable the

Allow dynamic updates via IGMP Snooping

function, and select Block or Forward for each port. Click Apply to

let the changes take effect.

The information above is described as follows:

Add/Modify to the table

Allows you to create or edit a filter for the Static Multicast Forwarding

Table

which will either forward or block multicast traffic.

Delete from the table

Allows you to delete a filter from the Static Multicast Forwarding Table.

MAC Address

The Ethernet address of the Static Multicast Forwarding Table entry. Only valid

Multicast addresses will be added to the table.

Vid

This is the VLAN that will be defined on this screen. Note a VLAN ID is from 1 to 4094.

Allow dynamic updates via IGMP Snooping

Enable this function to tell the switch how to deal with the

newly-created Static Multicast Forwarding table entry.

Port

Choose Block or Forward for each individual port.
