7.2 Schedule

Venus 1500 Display Manager – Schedule Control


As with Message Control,
the control area of the
screen is divided into two
basic halves; the left side
shows schedules that are
currently stored within the
Venus 1500 computer, the
right side lists the current
schedule stored at the
display site, if any.
Between the two areas are
the schedule control
buttons. These buttons are
used to send, stop or run a
schedule on the display.

Viewing the Available Schedule & Determining if a Schedule is Running on the
Display
To view the available schedules for a particular display, select the appropriate display name from
the Display List, and then click on [

GET STATUS

]. The control area of the screen will update with

the information retrieved from the display.

If a schedule is present at the display, its name will appear as the Current Schedule in the right
half of the control area (the display side). A status of “ACTIVE” indicates the schedule is running.
An “INACTIVE” schedule is not currently running on the display.


Sending a Schedule to the Display
To send a schedule from the Venus 1500 controller computer to a display, highlight the name of
the schedule under the Available Schedules column. Click on

. If any messages listed on the

schedule are not stored at the display, they are automatically sent also.


Running a Schedule

To run a schedule that is stored at the display site, click on

. The schedule will begin running.



Stopping an Active Schedule

To stop a schedule, click on

. The schedule’s status will change to “INACTIVE.”
