Section 5: The Venus 1500 Message Studio
The Venus 1500 Message Studio creates the messages that will appear on the displays. Text and
graphics are entered into “frames.” One or more frames create a message. When working in the Venus
1500 Message Studio, thumbnails of existing frames for the current message are displayed along the
right side of the screen.
To activate the Venus 1500 Message Studio, click on at the Venus 1500 Shell.

There are five basic types of Venus 1500-controlled displays, listed below.
· Galaxy (LED technology)
· DataTrac (LED technology)
· InfoNet (LED technology)
· SunSpot (Incandescent)
· Glow Cube (Reflective)
Different options will be available in the Venus 1500 Message Studio based on the type of display for
which the message is being created. Variances will be addressed where applicable in this section.
