1. From the Edit

pull-down menu,
select New and
then Display, or
right-click on a
display type or
another existing
display name and
select New and
then Display. The
Display
Configuration dialog box appears.

2. Enter a description for the display. It can be a number or a brief description of its location.
3. Enter the display’s network address. (The address of the display appears as part of the

boot up initialization information. Refer to the display’s maintenance and troubleshooting
manual for more information.)

4. Specify the display type. Lists of currently configured display types are available from the

drop-down menu.

5. Select the appropriate network on which the display is located.
6. Click on [

OK

] to save the new display configuration.

Note: A display cannot be programmed if a network is not configured.

A group is a collection of displays of
the same display type that can receive
various communications commands
simultaneously. A group is not
required for display communications.

Note: Display types must be

configured and displays added before
this option can be used.

1. To create a new group, select

New and then Display Group
from the Edit pull-down
menu. The Display Group
Configuration dialog box
appears.

2. Enter a name for the group.
3. Select the group’s display

type. A list of available displays appears in the left half of the dialog box.

4. Highlight the display(s) you wish to be included in the group and click on [

ADD

>>]. The

display(s) are added to the Member Displays list. (To pick more than one display at a
time, press and hold <

SHIFT

> while using the mouse to select a range of displays, or press

and hold <

CTRL

> to pick out individual displays.)

Remove a display by highlighting its name under Member Displays and click on
[<<

REMOVE

].

5. Click on [

OK

] to save the display group or choose [

CANCEL

] to discard all settings and

exit the dialog box.
