Undo/Redo In Message Studio
This tool can be used during the creation of a message to quickly undo an action up to the last ten
steps. The Redo command can be used to reapply a step that was taken up to ten steps ago.
To undo an action:
Click on the button or go to the Edit pull down menu and select Undo.
To redo an action:
Click on the button or go to the Edit pull down menu and select Redo.
5.3 Importing an Existing Message from Venus 1500 Version 1 Software
If you have upgraded from Version 1 to Version 2 of the Venus 1500 software, you may have
messages that were created in Version 1 that you wish to use in the new version. These messages will
need to be imported into the updated software.
1. Select Import from the File pull-down menu. The Venus 1500 Message File Import Utility
dialog box appears.
2. Click on next to the Input File Path. The Open dialog box appears.
3. Navigate to the location on your computer or network where the Version 1 messages are
stored.
4. Select the desired file and then
click on [ OPEN ]. The file’s name
will be added in the Input File
Path.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for the
Output File Path, except
navigate to the location where the
message should be stored as
Version 2.
6. Click on [ IMPORT ]. The message
will be converted to Version 2 and
placed in the specified direc
