2.3.1 H ind needle protection

S w itch the m ain sw itch off.
C heck and adjustthe needle protection only w ith the sew ing unit
sw itched off.
S tandard and checking
W hen the tip ofthe lefthook 3 is atthe levelofthe m iddle ofthe
needle,the hind needle protection 1 should abuton the needle.
– Turn handw heelin direction ofrotation untilthe hook tip is atthe
levelofthe m iddle ofthe needle.
– C heck w hetherthe needle protection abuts on the needle.
C orrection ofthe m obile version
– Turn handw heelin direction ofrotation untilthe hook tip is atthe
levelofthe m iddle ofthe needle.
– Loosen screw 2.
– S hiftthe needle protection 1 in such a w ay thatitabuts on the
needle.
– Tighten screw 2.
C orrection ofthe stationary version
– Turn handw heelin direction ofrotation untilthe hook tip is atthe
levelofthe m iddle ofthe needle.
– Loosen screw s 4.
– S hiftthe needle protection 3 in such a w ay thatitabuts on the
needle.
– Tighten screw s 4.
