7.3.10 Input management
Under the CONTROL section, you have:
-IDENTIFIER:
Displays a number on your input to quickly identify the source
-PATTERN:
Enable test pattern on the input. It allows you to start working without any plugged source.
-BLACK:
Turn your input to black
-FREEZE:
Freeze/unfreeze your input
- COMPOSITE SYNC LOAD:
Set up to Hi-Z (default) or to a 75Ohm load your input , only available for analog
signals.
4K (change only into the setup assistant > INPUTS, only for 4K devices)
The HDMI 4K inputs can be supported on the Live-
Core™ unit for devices with the optional 4K. In or-
der to use a 4K resolution, select the input #2, #6
and #10 and select 4K.
When the 4K feature is active, you will automatically
disable the input #1 (linked to input #2), input
#5 (linked to input #6) and input #9 (linked to input
#10) as the unit needs those input to handle the 4K
input.
Under the HDCP section, you can:
- Enable/disable the HDCP communication feature. When disabled, sources that are not protected such as
Mac desktop will not be HDCP.
- Read the HDCP status, very useful to know if the input HDCP communication is active or not.
Under the COLORIMETRY section, you have:
- BRIGHTNESS:
set up the luminosity level of your input
- CONTRAST:
set up the contrast level of your input
- COLOR:
set up the color level of your input (0:black and white, full: full color)
- HUE:
set up the hue phase of your NTSC signal.
