the stroke. In Automatic Single Stroke the output will remain on while the press is stopped at the top and
the press control is waiting for the proper automatic initiation signal from the feed.
Section 6.3.7 Stop At Top Output
This output (OR-16) turns On when the press de-energizes the clutch/brake output in order to
automatically stop the press at the top of the stroke. It remains On until the press comes to a complete
stop. This can be used by external equipment such as transfer systems as an indication that the press is
stopping at the top and to complete a feed operation. This output is also used in applications where a soft
brake is being controlled (see section on valve monitor).
