6.1 Cleaning Schedule
The following table provides a recommended cleaning schedule for
various parts of your printer.
CAUTION
For your safety and to avoid damaging the Printer,
always power off and unplug the unit before cleaning.

Using isopropyl alcohol and a cotton
swab, clean the printhead from end to
end. Removing all adhesive and dirt.
Clean after each
roll of ribbon or
each roll of direct-
thermal labels.
Platen Roller
Rotate the platen, cleaning it thoroughly
using isopropyl alcohol on a cotton swab
or lint-free cloth.
Clean after each
roll of ribbon or
each roll of direct-
thermal labels.
Media Path
Compressed air / soft-bristle brush and
isopropyl alcohol.
As needed, based
on weekly visual
inspection.
Peel/Tear Bar
Isopropyl alcohol
