*NOTE: On our workbench, we have
four 11” T-Bar sanders, equipped with
#50, #80, #150 and #220-grit sandpaper.
This setup is all that is required for
almost any sanding task. Sanding
blocks can be made from balsa for
sanding hard to reach spots. We also
keep some #320-grit wet-or-dry
sandpaper handy for finish sanding
before covering.

DEVIATIONS FROM SCALE
The rudder hinge line has been simplified to
allow you to use conventional model hinging
techniques. The elevator hinge line near the tip of
the stab was changed slightly to simplify the
elevator shape.
If you plan to compete with the trim scheme
shown on the box, here are a few things to
consider:
The full size P-40 that was duplicated is a
P-40E which was restored and is still in existence.
It matches the Koku Fan 3-view very well, with a
few exceptions.
