Data Setup
Sample Name
The Sample Name menu field will allow you to setup a unique sample name. If the Sample Name menu item is set to
YES, you will be prompted for a new sample name each time a new sample point is added. If set to AUTO you will
not be prompted to enter a new sample name each time a new sample is added. You will be prompted for the sample
name at the start of the Nav 2 Point real-time process. If the Off menu item is selected, then no sample name will be
added to any new sample points
To change the Sample Name setting; highlight the Sample Name menu item and press . The Sample Name dialog
box will appear. Select the desired setting using the arrow keys , once the desired setting is selected, press
to return back to the Data setup menu, see Figure 4 -20.

Setting Description
Off A sample name will not be added to any new sample points.
Yes You will be prompted for a new sample name each time you mark a sample
point.
Auto The same sample name will be used for each new sample point. Enter sample
name at start up.
