2. Check inventory of equipment

a. Verify all equipment is on site and in place according to the following list:

i. (2) TW-1500 Mat hoist winches

ii. (1) MH-CTRL Mat hoist control box

iii. (2) 5/16” x 60’ Hoist cables

iv. (2) 5/16-3/8” Swivel pulleys

v. (3) Load bar sections (2 end sections & 1 middle section)

vi. (2) MAT-LOK® Safety belt (if applicable – consult purchase order)

vii. (1) Dual Operation Key Switch (Up/Down)

viii. (2) Each left and right wall brackets, plus cross bracing (in case of wall mounted

installation only)

ix. Miscellaneous hardware (see parts list shipped with order for quantities)

3. Overhead unit winch installation

a. Orient two winches in the same direction. Direction of cable travel is not a critical factor, but

the two hoists must be located identically. Note also that there will be a slight sideways or
lengthwise travel of the load bar and the suspended mats while the unit is being lifted as a
direct result of the orientation of the winch drums. In either case, as shown in the images
below, the distance from the wall (or other obstructions) in the direction of arrows is critical.
Make sure to take this into consideration when locating hoist.

b. Make sure winches are oriented in such a way as to allow for easy access to the limit switch

adjustment system, and the dead-end cable attach (for double mat systems only).
