Function
Default Description
No usage
Off
Determines whether the panel sends a no usage report to the central
station if the user has not operated the system before the programmed
time expires (on) or not (off). The timer starts each time the system is
disarmed.
This is a customer service feature that alerts the central station if a
customer is not using their security system. The service provider can then
contact the customer to find out why the sys tem is not being used, and
help correct any problems for the customer.
Swinger
shutdown
On
Determines whether the panel prevents the same sensor from activating
an alarm more than once in a single arming period (on) or not (off).
Note: Swinger shutdown does not affect smoke and fire sensors.
Program
report
Off
Determines whether the panel sends a report to the central station
anytime the programming mode is entered/exited (on) or not at all (off).
The panel sends a report whenever the dealer (Utility 1) or installer (Utility
2) code is used to enter programming mode and another report is sent
when the programming session ends.
Fire verify
Off
If this option is off, the panel immediately reports to the central station
when a smoke detector goes into alarm.
With this option on, if a single smoke detector goes into alarm the panel
will not report for 60 seconds unless another smoke detector goes into
alarm. If the first smoke detector is cleared of alarm with the first 60
seconds, no report will be sent to the central station unless it or a second
smoke detector goes into alarm within the panel siren timeout period (five
minutes).
