Pressing the TONE / CTCSS key on the main unit when
turning on the POWER switch allows you to select from
the following two modes: (Initial state is MODE 1.)
• MODE1
MR1 ............... Memory channel 1 recall
MR2 ............... Memory channel 2 recall
MR3 ............... Memory channel 3 recall
• MODE 2
VFO/MR
DOWN

Notes
1. UP / DOWN will increment continuously if pressed
for longer than 1 second.
2. The microphone switch is operational even when
the F.LOCK switch on the main unit is turned ON.
3. Be sure to turn the POWER switch OFF when you
plug in or remove the microphone.
The SMC-33 can be used with models that have no
remote function. For these radios make sure that the
LOCK
switch
on
the
back
of
the
microphone
is
ON
before use.
