normal 12 keys that are found on your telephone the
transceiver also provides 4 additional keys, A, B, C and
D. These keys are required by some repeater systems for
various control operator of your repeater to determine
if their use is required. A chart is provided that lists the
various
tone
frequencies
that
are
generated
by
the
keypad. (Fig. 1)
To activate the keypad:
1. Press and hold the PTT switch.
2. Press the keys just like you would dial you telephone
at home.

Note
Some repeaters will require the use of a special key
sequence
to
activate
the
autopatch
function.
You
should
check
with
your
control
operator
for
this
sequence.
