I. TROUBLE SHOOTING
General Trouble Shooting
CAUTtON:

Always disconnect the dishwashers from the electrical power source before adjusting or replacing
components.
PROBLEM

Defective door switch

Defective selector switch.

Defective timer motor circuits.

8. Main motor defective.

Start switch contacts sticking ciosed.
2- A grounded timer motor combined with
reverse polarity connection at junction
box Of wall receptacle causing the "hot"
side of the circuit to bypass "off
switches in the timer.

Grounded thermostat with reverse
polarity

Broken slides inside of selector switch
(rapid advance timer only).

Door switch defective.

Terminals shorted to each other at the
door switch,

Latching handle turned to the "ON"
position.

connection at function box or wall
receptacle.

to junction box on built-in,

Repair as needed,

Check safety tab, which prevents
turning handle Into run position with
door open.

Replace defective component. Refer
to Installation Instruction for proper
electrical connection and grounding
of power receptacle.
